Decosür Grain-Textured Plaster
Definition: A specially developed, polymer-modified, cement-based interior and exterior topcoat that creates a natural texture on the surface after application. It can be applied with confidence to renew surfaces, particularly on MANTOSÜR Ready-to-Use Thermal Insulation Mortar or similar thermal insulation systems, as well as on skim coat, properly applied base plaster, concrete, aerated concrete, or sound, self-supporting old acrylic-based paints.
Properties: Decosür offers full compatibility and high adhesion with the surfaces to which it is applied, resistance to outdoor weather conditions and high vapour permeability, while providing a natural and decorative appearance that helps conceal surface defects arising during application.
Application: Decosür can be applied to clean surfaces that have fully dried and are free of oil, dirt and dust. Adjusting the amount of clean, cold water added to Decosür according to the weather conditions, mix with a low-speed mixer for approximately 5 minutes until the mixture is lump-free. Allow to stand for 2-3 minutes, then mix again before use. Prepared mixtures should be used within 1-2 hours. Each batch should be prepared with the same amount of water and mixing time; otherwise, different shades and patterns may appear on the facade. The mixture should be applied to the surface with a steel trowel or sprayed on by machine. Excess material beyond the grain thickness should be removed from the surface, and the grain pattern should be formed with circular movements using a plastic trowel. While patterning, the trowel surface should be cleaned frequently with a wet sponge. Do not apply in direct sunlight, on sun-heated surfaces, in strong winds or during heavy rainfall. Take care that the air temperature during application is within the range of +5ºC / +30ºC. At high temperatures, to prevent sudden water loss and reduced strength in the mineral coating, surfaces should be kept damp after application by spraying with low-pressure water morning and evening for 2-3 days. The product should be protected from frost until it has set. To increase the water repellency and dirt resistance of Decosür Decorative Grain Texture, it should be painted with two coats of Pandora Exterior Facade Paints.
Thinning: 25 kg of Decosür Decorative Grain-Textured Plaster is thinned with 5-6 litres of water, depending on weather conditions.
Drying Time: Approximately 20 hours at 20 ºC and 60% relative humidity. Full drying time is 3 days.
Consumption: Approximately 3 kg/m², depending on the condition of the surface.

Storage: Approximately 6 months in dry, moisture-free conditions.
Safety Warnings: Alkaline, as it is cement-based. In case of skin contact, wash the affected areas with plenty of water. In case of eye contact, consult a doctor. Store out of the reach of children.
