İzosür Ultra Ready-to-Use Waterproofing Coating

Product Definition: A single-component, elastic waterproofing material with an acrylic copolymer binder that is applied by brushing on.

Areas of Use: An insulation material that anyone can apply easily for waterproofing flat and pitched roofs, large and highly detailed terraces and balconies, drip edges, channels and gutters, chimney edges, eaves, downpipe gutters and drains. It creates no joints and adapts to all types of surfaces.

Properties: İzosür ultra is ready to use and keeps labour costs low. It allows surfaces to breathe. It is resistant to sunlight (at a thickness of at least 1 mm).

Consumption: Should be applied in at least two coats. For each coat, approximately 0,500 kg/m², depending on surface conditions.

Application: The surface to be treated must be sound, free of loose and weak parts, clean and free of foreign matter such as dust, oil and grease. Surface and ambient temperatures during application must be at least +5ºC and at most +35ºC. Apply undiluted by brush, roller or spray in one direction only; each subsequent coat should be applied perpendicular to the direction of the previous one. Allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next. The optimum layer thickness is 1 mm.

Drying Time: The waiting time between coats may vary depending on air temperature, surface temperature, air humidity and coating thickness. The waiting time between coats is 5-6 hours at 23 ºC and 50% relative humidity. Ensure that the underlying coat is completely dry before applying the next coat. After application, all tools and equipment should be washed immediately with clean water.

Storage: When stored in original, unopened and undamaged packaging at a temperature between +5ºC and +35ºC, the shelf life is 1 year from the date of production.

Warnings:

This product is not suitable for waterproofing against water under pressure.

On surfaces with numerous cracks, reinforcement with protective felt at horizontal and vertical joints is recommended.

Newly applied material must not be exposed to rain or frost for 24 hours.

İzosür ultra applied at 20ºC gains its mechanical strength after approximately five days and full watertightness after seven days. It reaches full strength after 15 days.

On surfaces subject to foot traffic or mechanical impact, a protective coating must be applied over İzosür ultra.
